Let's go.

Speaker 2:

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Becoming Fearless. I'm excited to bring this solo episode to your ears and I want to take you on a journey of achievement. I know a lot of people listening like you are high achievers. They set their sights high, their goals high and they really want to achieve them. The sense of accomplishment and the sense of achievement is felt deep. It is a pillar of positive psychology. It is a real depth of an emotion that we can feel and I want to invite you to think about various achievements in your life and what you have took away from them and what have you made them mean about you? One of the greatest achievements in my life for certain, without a doubt, 100% hand on heart is definitely my family. It is the biggest achievement ever and I'm very, very blessed, very honored and very grateful and appreciative of the family I have.

Speaker 2:

When I take life on a very individual level and I think about achievement, for me the first pillar is always health. I want you to tune into yourself for this aspect. Take yourself as a solo individual. What's the first pillar that comes to you in terms of achievement? For me, it's health. I'm turning 50. I am alive, I am healthy, I prioritize health, I achieve healthiness. I can't put a price on that. I can't put a time on that. I can't put a time on that. I can't put anything else on that.

Speaker 2:

My background is a whole health degree. Then I worked in mental health. It has been a pillar and a pivotal part of my life for so, so long. I now work with people on healthy energy. So, as you listen, there will be something that is, without a doubt, an anchor, a transformational aspect of your life that you don't necessarily take for granted, but it's something that is just like a non-negotiable. It's there for you to live through all the time and something that you prioritized.

Speaker 2:

So when you add an achievement to your first pillar like, for example, minus half when you add an achievement, for me it's always about the fitness side. It's always about how good I feel in my body, how strong I feel, how strong I feel in my mind, how I feel in terms of my sleep, how I feel in terms of my sleep, how I feel in terms of how I am living my life and what my emotional regulation is like and what my moods are like and how my happiness is and everything like that. I always say, and I will always continue to say whilst I am here healthy, the three components of high performance. How good can I feel, how easy can it be, how much fun can I have? I feel like there's two more. I'm going to add to that. They will come. How much impact can I make? How much can I embody and welcome in wealth?

Speaker 2:

So I remember achievements for me were always something external to me. It was something that I was going to do externally to achieve maybe another qualification, maybe something another race. It would be something where I would get the medal. As everyone knows that follows me and sees this on screen, I've got the medals behind me. I love, love, love. A medal. A sense of achievement is really strong. For me, the ultimate high-performance measure of achievement is your feelings. How a buzz and excitement. But they also give me massive internal bliss, as do other things, like this morning. I just sat on my swing, had my dry robe on, I had my feet on the grass, I had a massive, massive pint of water and I was very, very present of water and I was very, very present. That's a massive achievement for somebody that has either spent a lot of time in the future or a lot of time in the past, and I really prioritize these things. So, as you're listening, see what would be your version of that, what would be your sweet spot, what would be your similar action.

Speaker 2:

Then I want to talk about achievement in the area of wealth. I asked my audience I asked all of my audience around the whole concept of wealth. What does it mean to you? And as you're listening to this episode, I'd like you to think about that. Give yourself some time and space. What does wealth really mean to you? For some of you, it will be money 100%. That's what will come in. For some of you it will be assets. Some of you it will be opportunities. Some of you it will be space, time, all of those things. But if I say to you what does welcoming in wealth mean and look and feel like for you, then really tune in and decide and get certain on what that is for you.

Speaker 2:

So for me, wealth has health within it. It has money, it has opportunities, it has experiences. It has lots and lots of different spaces and places to really excel. It has wild impact and speed. But tune in for yourself. What is it for you? The whole purpose of this podcast is to give you information, allow you to ponder over and really percolate on various things and then find what resonates, what lands and what feels good for you and then take action. So wealth has many, many pillars. For me, there's a whole family side to it, there's all opportunities, there's a huge amount of giving, there's a huge amount of experiences and it's very, very in the energy of expansion, like what I call, below your own mind, expansion. Guess what will happen next? Expansion. And then, finally, I would like to talk about happiness, achievement of happiness.

Speaker 2:

Now, happiness is a very broad topic. Feeling happy, feeling your happiest experience, happiness is something that will change. I always talk about in my programs the importance of knowing that your version of happiness changes, just like your version of success, your version of high performance, because you always change. You are a being that is forever changing, forever moving and forever experiencing different things in life. Life Happiness is not like a fixed goal that we, you know, achieve and then we can anchor into it. It is something that we have to allow ourselves to experience on multiple levels, in multi-dimensions, in multiple connections and relationships with people in multiple spaces, and for me, it's very, very closely linked to health and wealth. I feel when you feel healthy and when you feel wealthy, you're more likely to have more moments of happiness, because these two things give you more energy, they give you more excitement, they give you more opportunities, and so if you are doing the things that you love, then it is like a pretty much a guarantee that you're going to get things that are going to create happiness for you.

Speaker 2:

Achieving happiness is an inner game. I spent a long time realizing this, and it's something that I really stand strong in and something that I really allow people to understand for themselves when they come into the programs that I run to find what their happiness is, and for some people, they've lost it. For some people, they have never understood what it is, and for some people, they're like, yeah, I know exactly what it is, but I'm just not doing it. This is where the achievement comes in in high performance. So much energy is wasted when people want to do things, they desire to do things. They tell themselves they're going to do things and then they don't do them. So much energy is wasted. And if I could box that up and sell it, I would definitely do that, because energy is so potent, so potent when you are living in your flow and everything feels easeful and opportunities are coming and health feels great and wealth feels great, and you are achieving beyond what you thought was possible, beyond what your logical mind thought was possible, and your energy is created so that it can hold the capacity of all of these achievements, you will feel on fire.

Speaker 2:

One of the things that I always teach in high performance is to feel on fire and feel grounded. Don't let yourself go away with yourself. Be able to be very real, be able to be very present, be able to navigate the emotional journey that you're on, as well as celebrate and allow yourself to really expand into the next level adventure and identity of your life. So achievement is all about you, how you create it, what it means to you, what's important about it, how you decide where you love like a goal and a strong intention, something that's booked in, where you love something that's really free-flowing, where you can be way more agile and just go with the flow. That feels like a real sense of achievement. When you can do that, if you've been somebody that's been in your head all of the time and a massive high achiever, when you can allow yourself to be let off the hook would be a phrase that some people use, or give yourself a breather would be another phrase that people use. When you can allow that without guilt, without shame, without worry, then you have totally created a sense of achievement that feels expansive and very, very blissful.

Speaker 2:

So let me know where you are on this achievement scale. Let me know what comes up for you. Let me know how it feels. Let me know whether you have some things in the future that you'd really like to achieve. For me, for example, I am doing High Rocks in the beginning of December, my first ever High Rocks. I am going to bring my book out, and there are lots and lots of other things that I am achieving as I step into my 50th year around the sun.

Speaker 2:

So let me know what comes up for you. What do you want to achieve? Do you feel like it's a pressure achievement? Do you feel like it's something that you thrive on? Let me know, and we can explore this topic deeper. But for now, huge love to you. Go and feel like you're going to achieve something by the end of the day or in the next 24 hours, because the sense of achievement accomplishment, like I said at the beginning is a positive psychology pillar. It is absolutely phenomenal in terms of the depth that you feel and the momentum that you create by doing it. Huge love to you. Take care, I will see you on the next episode.
