Hey, do you know what? If I said to you that your body is going to feel so, so relaxed and calm, you're going to sleep more, you're going to feel less anxious, you're going to be able to go roll with the flow, you're going to be able to be in your greatest expansion. Yet if you actually just give yourself a little bit of a break and allow yourself a little bit of this stillness to pop in, then they're like hey, do you know what? Maybe I will give it a go. Hello and welcome to another episode of Embody your Energy. I'm excited to bring this one to you. It's something that I've seen over the years with many of my clients and a pattern that I've seen, no matter where people are in their business or in their life, with the kind of information that they share with me as they become clients or friends or peers. And the common denominator with all these people that I've spoken with about this particular aspect is that they definitely identify as high achievers, they definitely identify as action takers, they definitely identify as this all or nothing mindset they're in, they are all in, they get excited, they are driven, they are really intentional with what it is that they are here to do in this world, the kind of people I absolutely adore working with, and it's a really clear pattern that I've seen evolve with these particular clients. And something that I really want to talk about in today's episode that I'm really excited to bring to you is something that I am really passionate about. Embodiment is obviously something I'm passionate about. Embody your energy is something I'm mega passionate about. But the topic of today is about stillness and so many of these fabulous humans. They're either afraid of stillness, or it's just not for them, or it all feels awkward, or they feel really bored in it, or it doesn't feel safe. And the main driver, for certain, is that they just love hanging out in their head. Is that they just love hanging out in their head? It has been absolutely pivotal to their success. It's something that they rely on, it's something that they allow themselves to be guided with. So as soon as I start to introduce hey, do you know what? Why don't we take a breather? Why don't we take our foot off the gas? Why don't we drop out of our head? They're like what? No, I'm not going to do that in any way, shape or form, and one of the most powerful aspects of this work is to navigate to resistance and to really embrace change and to really look at all the different angles that you can approach a particular situation. And one of the things that I always refer to with my background in health and mental health and the power of the mind-body connection is hey, do you know what? If I said to you that your body is going to feel so, so relaxed and calm, you're going to sleep more, you're going to feel less anxious, you're going to be able to go roll with the flow, you're going to sleep more, you're going to feel less anxious, you're going to be able to go roll with the flow, you're going to be able to be in your greatest expansion. Yet if you actually just give yourself a little bit of a break and allow yourself a little bit of this stillness to pop in, then they're like hey, do you know what? Maybe I will give it a go.
Speaker 1:And one of the beautiful things about stillness is that it allows you to create space. Space allows for clarity to drop in and clarity allows you to gain momentum of what you're really here to do, rather than the treadmill of life that you may have found yourself on. That success treadmill where do you know what it's working? So I'm just going to carry on. That's just who I am. Why change a thing when it's actually working, when you create stillness? Why people are so scared of it is do you know what? What if I take my foot off the gas? Will it still keep working? What if I create stillness and then actually find out that this doesn't bring me any joy? It's just something that I think I should be doing or something that I think my family or friends expect of me, or something that other people have said. This is kind of like your sweet spot and you're not connected to it, and there's a real tangible fear with people that if they allow the stillness to come in, they're kind of going to be like upset the apple cart. My invitation for you all today is to really think a lot about this, to really tune in to what stillness might provide for you.
Speaker 1:Now. I remember when I first started um working in the space and I was like, yeah, I'm going to try a little bit meditation. It's like, no, it's not working. Okay, I'm going to try and like pause while I'm walking. I'm going to try and be a bit still in my mind while I'm just doing some stretches. I had to ease myself into my own method of finding myself so that I could sit in stillness for one minute, two minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes. Now I can do it for a lot longer because I see the power in it, I see the value in it, I see the exponential growth in it, I see the expansion in it, I see the possibilities in it, I see the downloads that come from it, everything like that. So the values skyrocketed.
Speaker 1:Now, if you are somebody where stillness you're like yeah, whatever, I'm just going to be bored, I um, this is not for me. My invitation is to invite you to think about. One of the common beliefs and threads and societal conditionings that I find lots of people with this pattern have as well is this it's got to be hard. Let's get attached to the struggle. If I work hard, I'll play hard. Struggle. If I work hard, I'll play hard. All of those combinations of things really impact and distract from the actual power, potentiality, possibilities of the stillness. Now, as a recovering stillness expert and I have more tools in my arsenal about this which I'll be sharing in more episodes and in way more of my programs there is a real, beautiful balance and blend of your mind and body.
Speaker 1:When you open up to this, when you allow, give yourself permission to give it a go, this stillness piece, this awareness piece, this possibilities piece, this expansion piece, do you know what? Do you know what? Do you know what? What might actually happen? Do you know what? It may well be better than I even imagined. It may be one of the greatest moments of my life. It way over my me up to the greatest expansion ever.
Speaker 1:And you allow yourself that possibility, like, hey, do you know what? I might just give it a go, I might just allow myself to really step into this and really embrace it, embody it and allow myself to try it out. Now, one of the beautiful things with stillness is that every time is different and every space is different and every part of your connection to your mind, body, soul, universe, god, source, whatever you desire to be connected to, is going to show you something different, and that's one of the greatest things. With high achievers and highly driven people, it's like they love variety. They love variety. So when I kind of like say, hey, it's going to serve your variety itch, it's going to allow you to understand yourself more, it's going to really serve your personal growth and it's going to really allow you to expand your energy and your mind and your capacity to receive more and more like hey, do you know what? This is actually going to be a really great, great thing for me to have a go at.
Speaker 1:So let me know if stillness is something that makes you feel uncomfortable, something that you are a little bit scared of, something that you avoid, something that you simply don't value, something that you just can't connect to. And one of the greatest aspects of this really is that all of the power, all of the wisdom, all of the expansion, all of the energy, all of the expansion, all of the energy, all of the upgrades, all of the up levels, all of the cash, all of the currency, all of the clients, all of the success, all of the health, wealth, happiness, all of those great things. They start from the stillness. That starts from activating your imagination, your visualisation, to be able to bring things into your reality. This is very exciting. I keep coughing.
Speaker 1:There's a lot of energy shifting in this episode. Bring things into your reality and, with a certainty and an expectation of energy that they're already done, that that they are already done, you can line yourself up, you can take the action and it's all boom there. It is Conscious creation at its finest. Now, if I talk to you from that angle, you're probably like, hey, let's give it a go. So this is really important.
Speaker 1:As you think about stillness, how are you valuing it? As you think about stillness, how are you valuing it? What perspective are you viewing it? As as a tool, as a hack, as a um short cut? As a um high performance, quick aspect of unlocking more success? Because the way that you view it will also impact how you value it, and how you value it will also impact how much you do it and also whether you create habits and daily personal practices that involve it.
Speaker 1:So there's a lot to think about. But my question and my invitation for you as we round out this episode is to really dig deep on. Is stillness one of your greatest, greatest tools? Is it something that you really value? Is it something you're avoiding? Please let me know. I'm excited. I'm going to dive deeper into this in more episodes, as I share more of my wisdom, more of my tools and more of the ways that you can really embody your energy in a very simple, simple way to get you into a real expansive place where you create your most desired reality with ease. Take care I'll see you on the next episode. Bye.
